Mellon Postdoctoral Teaching Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania

MELLON POSTDOCTORAL TEACHING FELLOWSHIPS
In the Humanities and Humanistic Social Sciences 2012-2014

The School of Arts and Sciences invites applicants for four two-year postdoctoral teaching fellowships in the humanities and humanistic social sciences. Fellows will teach one course per term. Eligibility is limited to applicants who will have received their Ph.D. within two years prior to the time they begin their fellowship at Penn (August, 2010 or later). $49,440 stipend. Application deadline: November 30, 2011. We are especially seeking fellows in Anthropology (specializing in medical anthropology and Africa), English (specializing in Anglo Saxon language, literature, and culture), French (specializing in Renaissance literature and culture), Music History, and Sexuality Studies and Queer Theory (with some knowledge of Trans Studies).
